Control Unit for Colour Displays and Monitors with Rotary Push Drive

he   Control   Unit  for   Color  Displays   AHD-DC  RS includes all necessary functions for operating Böning color  displays,  in  the  version  for  panel  computers with integrated PC (AHD 12XX and AHD 13XX series) as  well  as  for  monitors  (AHD  11XX  series).  With  the control unit, all visualization pages, for instance, can be  opened  in  the  display,  and  the  control  elements present at the time can be activated. Further, devices by  other  manufacturers  can  also  be  controlled  with the  control  unit  (in  conjunction  with  an  AHD-CUC). Moreover,   it   also   assumes   the   functions   of   the Control  Unit  AHD-DC,  so  that  the  AHD-DC  RS  can also be used to select the display, which reduces the number of installed devices even more. The  Control  Unit  for  Color  Displays  AHD-DC  RS  is equipped with a plug connector for the CAN bus and a 5-pin terminal strip (24 V DC power supply as well as an alternate connection for the CAN bus).
The  control  unit  includes  an  acknowledge  key  for acoustic  and  optical  alarms  as  well  as  a  SOURCE ON/OFF  button  for  switching  the  displays  on  and off. Quick  access to the display menu via a press of the button is also available.As with all other display control panels, the buttons are dimmed automatically with the display.The control CAN bus is separate from the other CAN bus  systems  (e.g.  SAS-CAN  for  the  ship  alarm  and monitoring  system  or  engine  CAN  bus)  to  achieve problem-free data communication.For safety reasons, every control panel connected to the  control  CAN  has  a  separate  24  V  DC  power supply.
