The new AHD 1115 G display is part of the current range of 15-inch displays and panel PCs with improved readability through increased brightness and contrast. Increased performance and functionality are combined in a modern design and increase safety and ease of use on ship bridges. With a brightness of up to 1600 cd/m2, good readability is always guaranteed, even in strong sunlight. Automatic dimming ensures that the displays work glare-free even when driving at night.
By using automotive components, the devices can be used in a wider temperature range than conventional displays. The capacitive touchscreen enables convenient operation; the latest display technology enables even more brilliant colors. Basic functions, such as video source selection and brightness control, are quickly available via the built-in buttons.
When connected to the Boening system CAN bus via AHD 1200 or AHD 1300, alarms are reported and can be acknowledged with the device's buttons. With the AHD DRM T and AHD DRM R remote controls or via a connected PC, the displays can be conveniently controlled â for example from the armrest of the command chair on the bridge. The 24 V DC power supply makes the devices ideally suited for use on ships. The device is also available as an AHD 1115 M version with matte glass front (Gloss 100).
