AHD 1200

Blackbox PC

The collection of ship data, general status messages and alarms is an essential part of a modern alarm and security system. The constant increase in complexity and volume of information generated places higher demands on the performance of a data collection system. The integrated PC of the AHD 1200 meets these requirements ideally. Using the AHD 1200 embedded PC, various types of devices from other manufacturers can be adapted to the Böning ship alarm, monitoring and control system. There are also six CAN bus interfaces, two LAN and two USB interfaces. All interfaces can be connected individually via standardized connectors.

The powerful processor reads all supported protocols (NMEA 0183, SAE J1939,...) and transfers the required information in real time to a redundant CAN bus for display on ship alarm displays. The device is part of the Böning product family and as such can be individually adjusted using a configuration tool. The AHD 1200 embedded PC is designed for wall mounting. The box was specially developed for shipbuilding. A passive cooling system, which makes the installation of a fan superfluous, ensures effective cooling of the device components. The absence of other mechanically moving components, such as hard drives, makes the device shock-resistant and therefore ideal for use on board ships.
