The AHD 1200 (4th generation) embedded PC is used to collect ship data, general status messages, and alarms, and is an essential component of a modern alarm and security system. A wide variety of third-party devices can be integrated into Böning’s ship alarm, monitoring, and control system. Additionally, seven CAN bus interfaces, two LAN interfaces, and two USB interfaces are integrated.
The powerful processor supports various protocols (including NMEA 0183 and SAE J1939). Information received via the CAN bus can be displayed directly through the integrated monitor output (4K DisplayPort). All data is additionally sent via the system bus for further processing; depending on requirements, a redundant CAN bus can also be activated.
The AHD 1200 (G4) is designed for wall mounting, and the housing was specifically developed for shipbuilding. Thanks to the installation of a passive cooling system and a solid-state drive, the AHD 1200 (G4) operates without moving parts, making the device shock-resistant and thus ideally suited for use on board ships. A suitable adapter (item no. 24666) is available for connecting displays without a DisplayPort interface.
