AHD 1300 is an embedded PC designed primarily to integrate third-party devices into the Böning ship alarm, monitoring, and control system. The integrated CAN bus and two LAN interfaces enable fast and secure communication with the Böning system as a whole, as well as with external components and interfaces. Integrated video inputs and outputs expand the system’s functionality.
The powerful PC processor typically processes all data from supported protocols (including NMEA 0183 and SAE J1939) in real time. The relevant information is forwarded to the available interfaces and can also be displayed as graphical pages on an external monitor according to customer requirements.
The device was developed specifically for shipbuilding. The passive cooling system and the use of a solid-state drive (SSD) allow for a design without moving parts. As a result, the device achieves very high shock resistance. The AHD 1300 is designed for wall mounting.
