AHD-DAC is used to monitor door contacts on a ship. The module unlocks the door for a fixed period of time or permanently as soon as the user enters the pre-programmed code using the AHD-DAK keyboard or holds a transponder card with appropriate authorization from the associated AHD-DAR card reader. In emergencies, the doors can be unlocked with an optional override button.
The rights for the individual user cards are programmed using a special Mastercard. A maximum of 250 user cards can be used per door. A project-specific ship code ensures that the transponder cards are only valid for the associated ship. The AHD DAC door control unit and an AHD DAR card reader or an AHD-DAK keyboard must be installed for each monitored door.
