Böning offers suitable LED navigation lamps in connection with AHD-DPS 02 position lamp control and monitoring. The AHD-LED series is classified according to DNV; depending on the type, the associated LED navigation lamps can also be used on ships over 50 m in length. In doing so, the guidelines and international agreements for the protection of human life at sea (SOLAS) and the regulations of the international shipping organization IMO are complied with.
The very long lifespan compared to conventional navigation lights (with incandescent lamps), the high tolerance to overvoltage and undervoltage and the compact and lightweight construction are just a few of the advantages of the new Böning navigation lights. The ship operator also benefits from significantly lower maintenance costs and reduced energy consumption by up to 90%. Selected seawater-resistant aluminum with hard anodized coating (significantly harder and more seawater-resistant than normal anodizing), stainless steel and weather-resistant special borosilicate glass, which prevents the lenses from blinding, complete the product properties.
