Display Remote Control

AHD RA MU Clamp V2 and AHD RA MU D-Sub V2 are protocol converters designed for remote control of third-party displays (such as Hatteland, Furuno, Seada, or Neovo) via the Böning Remote CAN. Control commands are converted into the appropriate format and forwarded to the displays; communication occurs via RS232/485 by default. Two versions are available:

AHD RA MU D-Sub V2 (Peer-to-Peer Control) features an integrated emergency control function. In the event of a malfunction, data is rerouted via the “Serial 2” port, which connects to the manufacturer’s original controller. This allows all important functions to continue to be operated.
AHD RA MU Clamp V2 allows simultaneous control of multiple displays via a shared bus.

From a functional perspective, the Remote-CAN is added to third-party displays that have been adapted, enabling seamless integration into a MultiView Bridge management system. Control is performed via customer-specific controls (e.g., custom trackball) or virtual controls.
