AHD-TP2 allows convenient and individual control of two hydraulically and/or VFD (electrically) driven ABT thrusters. Each is operated via a precise single-axis joystick, which outputs a control voltage in the range of 0.. 5V according to its position.
To enable fault detection (wire break), the valid voltage range is between 0.5 and 2.5 volts (joystick position on the right) and between 2.5 and 4.5 volts (joystick position on the left). The joysticks are available either as a self-resetting version (automatic return to the center position) or as a non-self-resetting version (friction brake function).
