AHD VDIO expands the Böning AHD VCS video control system with 8 relay control outputs for switching camera accessories. If, for example, a specific camera is focused with the AHD-VCP video control device or a panel PC and its video signal is to be displayed, the associated camera lighting or a possibly installed camera windshield wiper can be automatically activated. This results in a significant image improvement in darkness or rain without the need for further intervention.
AHD VDIO is connected to the video control devices (AHD-VCP or panel PCs) via CAN bus and receives its control commands from here. Individual delay times can be configured to close and open a relay. Each closed relay opens automatically as soon as another camera is activated. A relay can also open automatically after a configurable period of time. AHD VDIO is mounted on standard TS 32 or TS 35 support rails.
