The AHD-WAOP (BNWAS) alarm panel serves as a central control unit for the bridge and ensures that the bridge crew is constantly alert. The alarm hours can be changed after entering a password. The selected time expires and must be confirmed before it expires. If the confirmation is not received, an alarm is triggered one after the other as follows:
1. Notification: Flashing of the AHD-WAOP display and the mushroom-head button
2. Pre-alarm: Activation of the internal buzzer and the “Buzzer” relay output
3. Alarm in the bridge section: Activation of the ‘Alarm’ relay output
4. General Alarm (alarm on the entire ship): Activation of the “General Alarm” relay output
To ensure rapid optical recognition, the display alternately lights red and green when an alarm occurs, and the mushroom button flashes red. After pressing the mushroom button for a long time for at least 5 seconds, an emergency alarm is triggered. Up to 4 external confirmation buttons can be connected directly, which allow easy confirmation at various positions on the bridge. With AHD-WAOP, response times of up to 12 minutes can be set. All parameter settings and password changes can be made directly on the device using the integrated buttons and the display.
