The AHD-WAOP system components developed by Böning are used to set up a so-called Bridge Navigation Watch Alarm System (BNWAS). The AHD-WAOP MD is a motion detector and offers an additional option for automatic acknow-ledgment of “BNWAS” watch alarm systems consisting of the base components AHD-WAOP / AHD-WAOP K.
For example, security personnel can be moni-tored while on a designated watch, or bridge crews can be monitored for expected move-ments. If no movement is detected within a specified time period, an alarm is triggered.
The motion detector is a dual-detection device that operates using both infrared and ultrasonic technology. This increas-es coverage reliability while minimizing false alarms. In addition, the motion detector is equipped with a tamper-contact that triggers if the device is tampered with.
AHD-WAOP MD is supplied as a set with a suit-able connection adapter, AHD-WAOP MDA, which connects directly to AHD-WAOP or AHD-WAOP K. The adapter is designed for mounting on a DIN rail in control cabinets and can there-fore be installed separately from the motion detector.
