AHD-WNL

Mobile access and logging

AHD-WNL is a communication and protocol computer with a “web and log” function. The system allows system-relevant logging data to be stored as well as visualization and remote access via WLAN or the Internet. Ship-relevant data can be visualized via iPad¼ or iPhone¼. AHD-WNL logs the values and special events of appropriately configured channels. The collected data can be displayed on the ship's displays and exported in various formats. For this purpose, the “AHD Charting” software was developed, which also enables a graphical evaluation of the data. AHD-WNL can store up to 50 million measurements and 100000 events.

Several supported iOS devices can be integrated into the system via WLAN or the Internet and operated side by side on an equal footing. An uninterruptible power supply ensures that AHD-WNL continues to be supplied for approximately 10 minutes in the event of a power failure. Existing Böning systems can be retrofitted without any problems. Existing AHD WNLs, which currently only allow access to the on-board LAN or WLAN, can be updated for access via the Internet.
