AHD 406-2

Wake chamber panel

The device works as a chamber or exhibition panel together with a central data station AHD-DPU 9 as part of a standby system. This is usually used on ships that are classified for operation with an unoccupied engine room.

AHD 406-2 receives data from the AHD-DPU 9 and reports current events via the front LEDs. In the event of alarms, an additional acoustic signal is triggered. There are separate inputs on the back for the manual engineer call and fire alarm. These alarms are reported even if the central data station fails. An additional relay output allows an external horn to be connected.
