Safety system with combined emergency stop system for diesel engines

AHD 514 S is a microprocessor-controlled device, equipped with all safety functions specified by classification societies for monitoring systems for drive diesel engines and individual adaptation to series from various engine manufacturers.

  • 4 relay outputs, 6 A, potential-free, for alarm and fault outputs
  • 2 transistor outputs, 8 A, wire-break-monitored and short-circuit-proof, for motor stop via lift/operating magnet, air dampers from the safety system
  • 1 transistor output, 8 A, wire-break-monitored and short-circuit-proof, for motor stop from the emergency stop system
  • 1 analog output (4 — 20 mA) for external speed display
  • Power supply 2 x 24 V DC +30%/-25% for safety system and emergency stop system
  • 1 CAN bus interface for data communication with AHD 514 A start/stop alarm system
  • 1 serial output (optocoupler)
  • Connections via pluggable terminal strips
