The AHD-GAP F control unit is used to control acoustic and optical ship signaling devices in emergency situations. In addition to manual operation, the usual signals for âleave shipâ, âgeneral alarmâ and âfire alarmâ are already pre-programmed and can be emitted at selectable intervals. With the first push of a button, a fixed signal sequence can be started, a second button deactivates the previous signal. The program logic ensures that the âleave shipâ signal is always emitted with the highest priority and is superordinate to all other signals.
Alternatively, general and fire alarms can also be activated via remote entrances. The signal for this can come from the Böning AHD-WAOP alarm panel (BNWAS), for example. With the available outputs, external devices can also be controlled, which in turn trigger an alarm. Or an already running process (e.g. loudspeaker announcement) is interrupted. Rear rotary switches allow the internal time intervals to be individually adjusted directly on the device. This applies to signal pauses between individual tones and a signal sequence as well as the times for short and long signals.
The device is equipped with a key lock to prevent accidental operation. Additional special functions for coupling the âhornâ and âfire alarmâ outputs or for adapting the optical signal outputs expand the flexibility of the AHD-GAP F for almost any application. AHD-GAP F is designed for installation in consoles on bridges or side lanes. All control elements are glare-free and dimmed automatically for operation at night.
