The AHD-PS 15B is a control panel that is used within watchkeeping and engineering call systems on ships with completely or temporarily unoccupied engine rooms. The panel is part of a fully configured standby system and allows you to select the standby level (chamber, measurement) and activate the engineer call function.
The entire system usually consists of a central data processing station AHD-DPU 9 and several chamber panels of the type AHD 406-2 or AHD 570 DP (displays or panel PCs can also be used as an option). As a standby board, AHD-PS 15B is usually installed in the engine room of a ship. The device has 7 switches for dialing a maximum of 7 alarm points (chambers). Activating multiple readiness requests at the same time is also easy. The current status is shown via integrated LEDs. The general engineering call function forwards the call to all existing reporting offices and chamber tables without delay.
Systems with AHD 12XX Panel PCs or AHD-DPU 9 data processing stations can be configured in such a way that a requested takeover in the security station is signaled and the takeover by the security station is reported back.
